Job Title: Vision Engagement Project Manager

Objective

The Vision Engagement Project Manager is responsible for providing strategic leadership and operational excellence in the planning, coordination and execution of Vision Engagement initiatives, including Vision Summits, retreats and related events. This role exists to steward generosity and donor engagement with clarity, care and excellence, supporting discipleship pathways and cultivating meaningful relationships, while advancing The Church of Eleven22® mission to be a movement for all people to discover and deepen a relationship with Jesus Christ.

Key Responsibilities

  • ​​Maintain an authentic and growing walk with Jesus Christ through the ongoing spiritual disciplines of Bible reading, prayer, personal worship, fasting, confession and fellowship
  • Lead the planning and execution of Vision Summits and Vision Engagement retreats, including invitations, registration, logistics, vendor coordination, communication and on-site support
  • Recruit, lead and disciple serve staff
  • Partner with the Vision Engagement Director to assess opportunities and develop strategies to expand Vision Engagement efforts
  • Manage the coordination of Vision Engagement on-site campus events across multiple campuses and ministries including managing internal communications, aligning event calendars and ensuring campus readiness and execution support
  • Manage the Vision Engagement budget under the oversight of the Vision Engagement Director, including tracking expenses, submitting requests and ensuring events operate within approved budgets
  • Manage data tracking and weekly reporting for Vision Engagement initiatives, including Project Gratitude and related platforms and maintain accurate Mortarstone profiles
  • Maintain organizational systems and communication channels, including SharePoint and the Vision Engagement inbox, ensuring accuracy and timely responses
  • Build and maintain discipleship relationships with Vision Ambassadors
  • Plan and execute serve staff and team care events
  • Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Five years of experience managing teams and events in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Mortarstone, Rock, Planning Center, Basecamp and Power BI preferred
  • Experience working in multi-site churches with congregations of 12,000 or more preferred

Expected Hours of Work

Work Hours Expectations: 40 hours or more.

Schedule Expectations: Monday through Friday (hours may vary based on church needs to include working weekends).

The church has several big events (“All-Skates”) throughout the year to help further the mission of Eleven22. These events are mandatory for all staff to be in attendance and may vary, depending on the vision cast for the current year.

Work Environment/Physical Demands

This role operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment, including computers, phones and photocopiers, with extended periods of screen time. The position also requires travel between campuses and event locations, as well as occasional work offsite and in outdoor environments with exposure to varying temperatures. While much of the work is sedentary, the role includes active event support that may require standing for extended periods, walking and physical exertion, including the ability to lift up to 25 pounds.  

Ministerial Exception

The ministerial exception furthers the purposes of the Free Exercise and Establishment Clauses of the First Amendment by barring legal claims against church bodies by staff members who perform religious functions. All church pastors are subject to the exception, but a formal ministerial credential is not required. While there is no rigid formula to determine other church staff members that qualify, various factors are considered to determine which staff members are subject to the ministerial exception (please see handbook).
