Condominium Project Underwriter ( West Coast)

POSITION OVERVIEW: Condominium Project Underwriting for Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA, VA, and other investors that CMG sells their condominium project loans to.
Would like Processor who is on the West Coast for coverage.
*****Must have both Condo and Co-op Project Underwriting experience******
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES, includes the following responsibilities, but not limited to:
- Partner and communicate with Sales, Ops teams, and other internal staff. Responding to emails and voicemail messages each day.
- Daily follow up on each project in your pipeline to ensure SLAs are met and document communication within the QuickBase system.
- Analyze project information to rep and warrant per Investor Guidelines
- Validate project decisions in Fannie Mae’s CPM, Freddie Mac PAR, FHAC and VA systems.
- Ensure Byte system has been updated with findings, special feature codes and our delivery codes; as well as signing off on applicable conditions.
- Obtaining Project documents and/or specific project information when required.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- 5 + years of Condo Project underwriting experience
- Must have both Condo and Co-op Project Underwriting experience
- Must have knowledge of guidelines: Conventional, FHA, VA
- Must have experience with CPM, CVAS, VA, FHAC, PAR
- Proficient in Microsoft suite of product; Outlook, Word, Excel,
- Ability to work in a fast-paced fluid environment.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- An Elevated level of integrity and confidentiality required.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Direct Reports: N/A
PHYSICAL and ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS:
Standard office environment, equipment, and tasks, including work at a computer terminal. This position requires partial sitting and walking throughout the day. Employees must be open to working overtime to complete assigned tasks.
