Position Overview:
 
The Senior Project Manager, Business Process Integration, is a pivotal role in the successful implementation of new Supply Chain applications and solutions. Reporting directly to the Director, Business Process Integration, this individual must possess a strong conceptual understanding of the supply chain and be able to translate that knowledge into effective solutions that meet all business requirements. Additionally, the Senior Project Manager will engage and collaborate with business leadership and key users at all levels of the organization – national, regional, and local.
 
 
 
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
 
  • Provide leadership for start-up projects, meeting cost, and service and timeline commitments.
  • Lead the integration of CJL and new customers or projects using project management principles to achieve project goals.
  • Identify and assign organizational resources for executing activities in order to ensure project success.
  • Communicate start-up, operational, and customer requirements with appropriate stakeholders
  • Develop communication plans; lead integration; facilitate information flow and document progress.
  • Continually develop and improve CJL integration, tools, and processes.
  • Perform other related job duties as required, within the scope of training and expertise"
     
Requirements and Qualifications
 
  • Bachelor’s degree required; preferably in Logistics, Operations Management, Transportation, Business Administration, or Engineering   
  • 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Consulting.
  • Project management experience in facility and construction (Not IT).
  • Demonstrated leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Project.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and negotiation skills are a must.
  • Must be a self-directed individual able to interact effectively with all levels of management.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and be detail-oriented.
  • Must be flexible with the ability to travel.
