At MMGY Travel Intelligence we are a team of dedicated market researchers and data analysts who utilize a portfolio of products and services to empower travel and tourism industry decision-makers achieve their company goals. We specialize in collecting travel performance data, audience modeling, segmentation, designing survey instruments and customizing data analyses with focus on quantitative and qualitative research projects. Our goal is to bridge the gap for client between data and information by communicating research data into actionable insights and meaningful recommendations. We are currently looking for a Research Account Manager to join our Reston, VA team.

A qualified candidate will:

  • Serve as the primary contact for internal and external clients
  • Be independently responsible for the profitable management of assigned client relationships and collaborate on a cross-functional basis with other MMGY teams while adhering to the company’s values, vision, and mission
  • Organize multiple client deliverables and coordinate various project schedules simultaneously with relevant departments
  • Assist clients with their research needs by designing market research projects and offering input on survey instruments
  • Collaborate with the data processing team on project methodologies, data collections, data weighting and ensuring data quality
  • Prepare written reports of the findings, analyze syndicated and custom travel behavioral data, visualize, and communicate complex research findings into actionable insights
  • Present findings to clients, travel industry stakeholders, and at conferences
  • Work closely with MMGY channel leaders to help translate insights to strategic marketing implications, ideas, and recommendations
  • Proactively embrace our organic growth opportunities by providing excellent client service, optimizing the day-to-day processes, and creating new product

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of market research concepts, survey design
  • Experience in working with various data sources, data analytics, data management tools, storytelling, etc.
  • Comfortable in working autonomously and possessing excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to lead projects
  • Possess strong time management skills to meet deadlines
  • Excited to be working within the tourism and hospitality industry
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Comfortable in presenting data and communicate insights effectively
  • College graduate or equivalent experience
  • Occasional travel required
