We have an immediate opening for a Email Marketing & Automation Manager in our Overland Park, KS office. The Email Marketing & Automation Manager will be responsible for the development, execution, and overall performance of client email marketing programs. Applicant will manage the overall performance and effectiveness of client’s email marketing programs by initiating campaigns based on client needs, thoroughly analyzing the data from each campaign, making recommendations to the client and planning out next steps to further improve results.
 
Duties & Responsibilities:
 
Primary Responsibilities
  • Collaborates well with others from strategy to execution
  • Is a self-starter, project owner to build, troubleshoot, send, and report on campaigns
  • Is eager to learn what the new capabilities and trends are in email marketing
  • Has high-level familiarity with email HTML and is comfortable making minor tweaks
  • Develops ongoing reporting and campaign-specific reports on a regular basis
  • Organizes resources to execute tactics included in the plan developed by the Email Marketing & Automation Strategist
  • Works closely with the Account, Analytics, Social Media, Paid Media, Creative and Project Management teams to ensure campaigns are fully integrated and coincide with the client’s overall goals
  • Analyzes subscriber data to identify segments, data cleansing solutions and insights into subscriber-level engagement
  • Is responsible for writing creative briefs and leveraging internal project management tools to adequately prep internal teams for integrated campaigns
  • Sets up, manages, and deploys email campaigns in a variety of marketing platforms
    • Setup and deploy mailings

    • Manage contact databases
    • Email testing and QA
    • Basic HTML coding
    • Ability to build rapport with team members and clients
 
Job Skills
  • Experience with email campaign management and deployment in at least one major enterprise-level Email Service Provider such as SalesForce Marketing Cloud, Pardot, Mailchimp, Marketo, etc.
  • Experience with Google Analytics
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
 
Analytics and Optimization
  • Ensure the continuous analysis and optimization of email marketing campaigns, focusing on conversion rate optimization (CRO), segmentation, personalization, and user engagement metrics.
  • Oversee the production of comprehensive reports on email marketing performance, CRM revenue impact, and overall channel effectiveness.
 
Collaboration and Integration
  • Foster a culture of innovation and collaboration within the team and across the organization.
  • Ensure that email marketing strategies are fully integrated with the company's and clients overall marketing and business goals.
 
Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of experience in marketing, with a significant focus on email marketing and automation strategy
  • Proven experience in leading strategic email marketing initiatives and supervising marketing teams.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of email Service Providers (e.g., Act-On, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Mailchimp, Marketo) and marketing automation technologies.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related technical field or comparable experience
  • Advanced understanding of analytics tools, preferably Google Analytics, and the ability to derive actionable insights from data.
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to stay ahead of email marketing trends, technologies, and compliance regulations.
