The team

This role will be responsible for scaling and driving performance in our Cards function. FlexiPay is Funding Circle’s start-up product backed by an already very successful business model. You’ll also be able to grow your own team.

 

What will you be doing?

 

        Reporting into our MD - FlexiPay, you will launch & manage the Business Card product with responsibilities including growing commercial value drivers, setting strategy, providing direction, leading employees and managing budget & external relationships.

        Lead strategic product roadmaps, product development, program launches, and program marketing to achieve product, commercial and growth targets & KPIs.

        Drive client value propositions, positioning, segmentation, pricing, targeting, channel strategies, and competitive differentiation to drive sustainable growth & market share.

        Additionally, you will help integrate new propositions & experiences across the wider business infrastructure, developing relationships and partnering with key stakeholders to create successful solutions that can sit alongside the core product offering.

        You will enable a culture of continuous iterations of our propositions, processes & workflows by proactively identifying areas for improvement and working with cross-functional teams to own and deliver elegant, scalable solutions.

 

Are you?

 

        8+ years’ experience in cards gained at other fintechs, specialised lenders, or retail banks with a strong record of strategic planning, product leadership, execution, and commercial success.

        Strong in your knowledge of credit and payment products , underlying profitability metrics & product profitability drivers.

        Proven in the delivery with the ability to operate strategically whilst remaining hands-on and leaning in wherever needed

        Able to drive decisive actions that result in measurable outcomes through balanced judgment, excellent strategic thinking, quantitative skills and logical reasoning.

        Focused on on the customer and ability to translate customer needs into compelling product features

        Experienced with product management and strong management skills leading product and development teams preferred
