Full Time Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant (MAT Clinic) – Northshore, LA

Full Time:  40 hours 2pm to 10:30 pm

About the job

We are currently recruiting for a part time Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant opportunity at our Antioch, CA clinic. Great opportunity with a very competitive pay!

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provides medical services including taking a history and physical examination, and performs appropriate follow-up on patients' medical issues as indicated
  • Provides health counseling services under the supervision of the MD and follows the progress of patients
  • Makes appropriate records of findings during examinations and submits charts to MD for signature
  • May write drug orders or written transmittal orders and call for refills under the supervision of the Medical Director
  • May also dispense narcotic treatment therapies as needed in place of dispensing nurses

  • Candidates must be licensed to practice in the State of Louisiana
  • Must be able to interact compassionately with a diverse population 
  • Drug rehabilitation training/knowledge is preferred
  • At least 6 months of substance abuse treatment and/or primary care experience strongly preferred
  • Must be willing to obtain X Waiver.
  • Satisfactory drug screen and background.
