Overview | Global Music Rights 
The department of Revenue Strategy & Analysis at Global Music Rights is looking to hire interns for Fall 2024 and Winter 2024. Global Music Rights represents today's greatest and most accomplished songwriters and composers in the public performance licensing of their music (e.g. Harry Styles, Billie Eilish, Drake, Lizzo, Bad Bunny, Bruce Springsteen, Bruno Mars, Pharrell Williams, Nicki Minaj, The Weeknd + many more). At the forefront of music rights management, Global Music Rights is leading the field in client services, technology, and rights advocacy.
 
Internship Responsibilities 
  • Support GMR’s prospecting team as we discover and evaluate new potential licensees
  • Market research for various license classes (i.e. Nightlife, Restaurants, etc.) within the General Licensing space
  • Evaluate and compile lead lists
  • Help prioritize highest value opportunities
  • Opportunity to participate in strategy meeting with cross-functional team
  • Data validation and cross checking of research findings/opportunities with past licensing efforts
  • Use company tools to find appropriate contact information for potential prospects
  • Help prepare presentations for senior management on research findings
  • Assist with internal department projects on an ad-hoc basis
 Required Qualifications:
  • Research experience
  • Experience with data analysis
  • Proficiency in Excel, other analytic tools a plus
  • Ability to balance and prioritize multiple assignments
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Works effectively as part of a small team
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
  • Must be able to work on-site in Los Angeles, CA
Internship Details: 
  • Onsite: Our office is in Westwood Village, Los Angeles, CA.
  • Pay: $17.28 per hour
  • Expected hours: up to 29 hours per week
