Job Summary

 
We are currently seeking a talented and motivated Financial Planning and Analysis candidate to join our dynamic finance team. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting the financial planning, forecasting, and analysis processes to drive strategic decision-making and optimize business performance. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Additionally, you will leverage your strengths in modeling and working with raw data to cut through ambiguity and maximize your impact on the business.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

 

  • Proactively identify risks and opportunities for the designated business segments by leveraging data driven insights.
  • Optimize KPI reporting and internal financial reporting to senior management, ensuring accuracy and quality.
  • Invent and/or simplify existing FP&A processes to allow for more efficiency.
  • Partner with our accounting team for month-end and quarter-end close.
  • Support Management Team on One-Off Data Analysis Exercises.
  • Support the financial integration of newly acquired/opened businesses, including the establishing of financial processes and impact analysis.
  • Support the annual budgeting process by collaborating with business partners to gather inputs, develop budgets, and analyze variances.

 

 

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis or related field
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting techniques, and variance analysis.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate financial information to stakeholders at all levels
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and meeting deadlines
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with financial planning software a plus
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

 

Preferred Experience 

 

  • Advanced proficiency with Excel & complex financial modeling
  • Power BI
  • Financial ERP Systems
  • Experience working in CPG industry (or similar industry)
  • Digital/eCommerce and customer data analysis (preferred but not required)
