Your Role:
The Sr. Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) will serve as a strategic finance business partner in a private equity–backed Contract Development & Manufacturing Organization (CDMO). Reporting to the Sr. Director, FP&A, this role will execute plans and budgets, while providing rigorous financial insights and business case support to Operations and Commercial Teams.
The position plays a critical role in driving EBITDA growth, improving forecast accuracy, supporting disciplined capital allocation, and enhancing visibility into revenue, margin, and capacity utilization.
This individual will operate in a fast-paced, performance-oriented environment with high exposure to executive leadership.
Job Duties:
- Lead the annual budgeting process across Operations, Commercial, and G&A functions
- Own monthly and quarterly rolling forecasts, including revenue, COGS, EBITDA, and cash flow
- Support long-range plan (LP) aligned to PE value-creation objectives
- Deliver monthly executive reporting package including revenue, EBITDA, utilization, and cash flow
- Provide variance analysis with actionable insights to senior leadership
- Analyze manufacturing and process development performance
- Partner with Operations leadership on cost management and productivity initiatives
- Partner with Commercial team to translate backlog and pipeline into forecast visibility
- Continuous improvement of revenue forecast models
- Enhance automation and reporting efficiency through FP&A tools
- Ensure alignment between FP&A and Accounting on revenue recognition and cost reporting
- Lead, mentor, and coach a team of analysts, fostering a high-performance culture and supporting continuous professional development.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field
- 8–12+ years of progressive finance experience
- Outstanding communication skills with the ability to translate complex financial insights into clear, business-focused recommendations
- Advanced financial modeling skills (driver-based modeling required)
- Strong understanding of manufacturing cost accounting and margin analysis
- Proficiency in Excel and FP&A and ERP systems (e.g. Solver, Dynamics AX 365)
Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA preferred
- 3–5+ years in manufacturing, life sciences, or CDMO environment preferred
- Experience in private equity–backed or high-growth organizations strongly preferred
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This role is a full-time position onsite. Days of work are Monday through Friday. The employee must also, if instructed, be able to work overtime when needed.
Compensation:
We offer competitive compensation packages for this role, including a base salary, performance-based bonuses, and comprehensive benefits such as health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
The compensation range for this role is $141,600 to $175,000 annually depending on experience and, qualifications. Additionally, we offer opportunities for career growth and development as well as a supportive and inclusive work environment.
