Your Role:  
Join our team as a Sr. Manager, Accounting and lead a dynamic group of accounting professionals to drive excellence in financial operations.
As the thought leader on business, technical accounting and internal control matters, you will monitor compliance to policies and procedures, ensuring adherence to internal controls. Overseeing all aspects of accounting activities, from general accounting to revenue recognition, your expertise will be crucial in maintaining accurate financial records and presenting financial statements in accordance with US GAAP. Key Responsibilities: 
  • Lead and ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and internal controls for accounting areas, acting as a thought leader on technical accounting and internal control matters.
  • Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including general accounting, accounts payable, inventory/cost accounting, capital expenditure, revenue recognition, client billing, and project management.
  • Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting activities, including journal entries, balance sheet account reconciliations, and variance analyses of expense actuals to budget/prior periods.
  • Review lease contracts, interpret pertinent financial lease information, and conduct accounting research as needed.
  • Manage duties and analysis related to project accounting, cost accounting, inventory, and revenue recognition.
  • Ensure accurate financial statements presented in accordance with US GAAP, providing appropriate variance analyses to management.
  • Supervise AP Lead and processes, review invoices, purchase orders, and reconcile Amex and Concur transactions.
  • Maintain Vendor files, review month-end accruals, and resolve AP-related issues.
  • Ensure accuracy of fixed asset acquisitions/dispositions and depreciation, conducting periodic impairment reviews for tangible/intangible assets.
  • Conduct periodic physical inventory counts of fixed assets and provide analysis as requested.
  • Submit timely annual property tax returns and SOV, reconciling fixed asset ledger balance to the general ledger.
  • Represent the company during fixed asset audits by government entities and track company expenditures compared to the capital budget.
  • Manage returns, including sales and use tax returns filing, 1099, and 1096 reporting
  • Review annual tax provisions and tax returns.
  • Lead the annual internal and external audit.
  • Identify new performance improvement/transformation opportunities.
  • Lead or assist with ad-hoc/special projects, recommending best practices and improving standard operating procedures.
  • Demonstrate a personal commitment to quality.
Minimum Qualifications: 
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
  • Active Certified Public Accountant license.
  • 3+ years of progressive accounting experience within fast-paced companies with high growth, including at minimum 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • 2+ years of experience working in CPA firms.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, analytical, and creative thinking skills.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP (including ASC 606 and ASC 842).
  • Ability to learn quickly and apply knowledge effectively.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading accounting projects and process improvement/transformation initiatives.
  • Must have the ability to multitask and work overtime to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to remain flexible, reprioritize, and respond to changing demands.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills with all levels of staff and management.
  • Ability to function well in a team-oriented environment, be independent, and self-motivated.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365
  • Knowledge of Excel macros and Power BI
  • Experience within PE owned companies is preferable.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: 
This role is a full-time onsite position. Days of work are Monday through Friday. The employee must also have the ability to work overtime and/or weekends when necessary. 
Compensation:  
We offer competitive compensation packages for this role, including a base salary, performance-based bonuses, and comprehensive benefits such as health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off. 
The compensation range for this role is $136,000 - $170,000 annually depending on experience and qualifications. Additionally, we offer opportunities for career growth and development as well as a supportive and inclusive work environment.

Physical Demands & Work Environment:  
In this dynamic role, expect a blend of regular activities like sitting, standing, and walking, with occasional physically engaging tasks such as lifting objects up to 25 pounds.
