Associate Director-Subsidized Programs (Remote)
Description
American Specialty Health Incorporated (ASH) is seeking an Associate Director-Subsidized Programs to join our Client Services-Fitness department.
The primary purpose of this position is to oversee the Client Services Team servicing the subsidized fitness programs including Silver&Fit and Active&Fit Enterprise, provide excellent service to clients and accomplish department and company goals as determined.
Remote Worker Guidelines
Remote Worker Guidelines: This position will be trained remotely and must be able to work from home (WFH) in a designated work area with company-provided technology equipment. This WFH position requires you have a stable connection to your Internet Service Provider with the ability to participate by video in online meetings over a reliable and consistent network. The internet connection must have a consistent 50 down/10 up Mbps minimum internet speed. 100 down/20 up is recommended to support higher quality video meetings.
Responsibilities
- Oversees Senior Managers and Client Services Managers of Client Service team and provides excellent service to clients and accomplishes department and company goals as determined.
- Ensures teams provide high level service to meet client expectations on a daily basis. This includes providing quality service and timely response and follow up. Reports results to Associate Vice President and Executive Management team as appropriate, identifies, and resolves barriers to achieve results.
- Ensures Client Service Managers conduct routine outreach to support client retention.
- Supports pre and post implementation activities of new products and client implementations.
- Provides day to day guidance and direction to team members to support assigned clients, department procedures, and ASH business practices.
- Identifies and resolves client issues including the engagement of subject matter experts and escalation as appropriate to Associate Vice President and Executive Management team.
- Provides routine, comprehensive updates to management and key stakeholders regarding client activity, relationship management, and changes in client organizational or business direction.
- Supports client retention efforts.
- Assists in the development of client presentations and renewals as necessary.
- Participates in sales presentations, conference calls and other account functions as determined.
- Represents Clients Services as an adhoc attendee at the Corporate Compliance Committee – Fitness or other Committee meetings as identified.
- Responsible for staff forecasting and day-to-day expense management.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Complies with all policies and standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in business, related field, or equivalent experience required. If equivalent experience, high school diploma required.
- 5 years of experience servicing health plan clients or similar clientele required.
- 3 years of management experience required.
- Experience in Microsoft 365 Customer Relationship Management Software (CRM) preferred.
- Proficient in MS Office.
- Excellent project management skills. Ability to effectively organize, prioritize, multi-task and manage time.
- Accountable for hiring, training and retaining high performance and injury free team members.
- Demonstrates good judgment through appropriate delegation while maintaining proper oversight and follow up; prepares leadership staff for situational delegation.
- Conveys clear and concise messages appropriate to intended audience; represents ASH in a professional manner through effective oral and written communication.
- Uses resources effectively (people, time, expenses) to manage within or below budgetary targets based upon current business environment.
- Coaches and counsels staff as appropriate.
- Completes performance reviews timely.
- Acceptable credit to qualify for a company American Express Card required.
