Strategic Leadership: 
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive financial crime prevention strategy aligned with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Provide strategic direction to the financial crime prevention team, fostering a culture of compliance and ethical behavior.
Regulatory Compliance:
  • Stay abreast of relevant local and international regulations related to financial crime, ensuring the organization's adherence to all applicable laws and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with regulatory bodies and external stakeholders to address compliance issues and promote a positive regulatory relationship.
Risk Assessment and Mitigation:
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify potential financial crime risks and vulnerabilities.
  • Implement effective risk mitigation measures, including the development and enhancement of policies, procedures, and controls.
Team Management
  • Lead and inspire a team of financial crime prevention professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and development opportunities.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment, encouraging continuous learning and professional growth.
Investigations and Reporting:
  • Oversee and conduct investigations into suspected financial crimes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting to relevant authorities.
  • Collaborate with law enforcement agencies and other institutions in the investigation and prosecution of financial crimes.
Training and Awareness:
  • Develop and deliver training programs to enhance the organization's overall awareness and understanding of financial crime risks.
  • Foster a strong culture of compliance and ethics through effective communication and training initiatives.
Technology and Data Management:
  • Leverage technology solutions for the detection and prevention of financial crime, staying current with advancements in financial crime detection tools.
  • Ensure the secure and compliant management of data related to financial crime prevention activities.
