Apex is seeking a Depositary Support Officer in Sofia, Bulgaria.
This is a full-time role, and it comes with an attractive salary and benefits package.
In your first months in this Depositary Support Officer role, you can expect to be:
  • Providing support in verifying the ownership of all assets of the Funds that are not held in custody and are defined as “Other Assets / “Alternative Assets”.
  • Providing support in the daily Cash Flow Monitoring on all relevant cash flows.
Providing technical support regarding:
  • Setting-up new funds in the internal control environment.
  • Control activities in the Depositary Oversight for both UCITS and Non-UCITS Funds.
  • NAV reconciliations incl. all related aspects like cash, assets, and accrued fees.
  • Checks on subscriptions and redemptions as well as distributions.
As well as:
  • Maintenance of ongoing reports, e. g. on Key Performance indicators.
  • Calculation of Depositary fees and further support in the billing process.
To apply for this Depositary Support Officer role, your soft skills, expertise, and experience should include:
  • A degree in Finance or Business Administration or experience in a bank/depositary/fund accounting role or similar
  • An autonomous and solution-oriented working style
  • Excellent communication skills in English (B2 level as minimum)
  • Communication skills in German Language (B+ level) would be advantageous.
  • Strong knowledge of quality control techniques/procedures.
  • Strong understanding of product range and operational processes.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines.
