Apex Group is currently looking for a qualified depositary oversight officer to support our Depositary department in Luxembourg. This Senior Depositary Officer role comes with a generous salary and benefits package.
The European Depositary Bank, you will be working for, is a provider of Banking, Depositary and Custody services within Apex.
In your Senior Depositary Officer role, you will be responsible for:
- Perform safekeeping, cash flow monitoring and oversight duties for funds investing in alternative or liquid assets
- Be involved in fund launches and migrations, as well as analysis and updating of fund documentation
- Manage funds audit (depositary confirmations)
- Represent Depositary in Board Meetings and prepare reports
- Act as first operational point of contact for all stakeholders.
To apply for this Senior Depositary oversight role, you will need a banking apprenticeship and/or Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field (economics, business administration, finance). You will also require the following:
- Relevant practical experience in a similar role
- In-depth knowledge of fund structures as well as related functions (Depositary, Management Company, Alternative Investment Fund Manager, Central Administration, etc.)
- Excellent analytical and decision-making skills as well and a structured way of working
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office products, further system knowledge e.g., IBSY, eFront.
