European Depositary Bank, part of the APEX Group, is currently looking for a Settlements & Derivates Specialist to support our Custody Operations team.
In your first few weeks and months in this Settlements & Derivates Specialist role, you can expect to:
  • Issuing Agent for securitisation Notes/Certificates and help the legal advisors of the Issuer to set up the respective documentation
  • Paying Agent for securitization Notes/Certificates (Mark Up/Down instruction, interest payments
  • performing the duties of an Settlement Agent for securitization Notes/Certificates (settlement via Clearingsystem)
  • Transfer Agent for securitization Notes/Certificates (FOP and secondary market Trades)
  • Calculation Agent for securitization Notes/Certificates (calculation of the price of Note and publication)
  • Registrar Agent for securitization Notes/Certificates (AML/KYC Check of the Bondholders and keep the book and records of such
  • Provide / setup control reports / client reports
  • Take-over of complex project activities/project leader and complex inquiries
  • Active participation in process changes and adaptations
  • Point of escalation
To apply for this Settlements & Derivates Specialist role, you will need a degree in Business Studies or a comparable qualification. You will also require the following:
  • Proficient German and English business language skills, both written and oral
  • 4+ years of equivalent work experience
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build sustainable, engaging and meaningful relationships.
  • Good understanding of economic relationships and the processes of a bank
  • Strong analytical and decision – making skills as well as a structured way of working
  • Ability work successfully both autonomously and within teams
  • Profound knowledge of Clearstream / CitiDirect advantageous
  • Experience in project work advantageous
  • Ability to set priorities, be flexible and highly accurate
  • Knowledge of MS Office products(in particular Excel), further system knowledge e.g. IBSY, etc. would be an asset
