Do you have Senior Associate Financial Reporting experience, and are you seeking a new job in Saint Peter Port? Apex Group is looking for a full-time Financial Reporting Director, and the hybrid role comes with an attractive salary and benefits package.
 
As a Senior Associate Financial Reporting, you will deliver financial reporting and associated administrative activities, for a variety of listed fund clients (and in some cases their associated management companies), including but not limited to annual and half yearly financial statements and quarterly/monthly management accounts.
 
In your first few weeks in this Senior Associate Financial Reporting role, you can expect to:
  • Coordinate the audit process of annual audits and half-yearly reviews for client funds and management companies
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly management accounts for client and board review
  • Coordinate external professional typesetting of financial statements for printing and publication
  • Liaise with internal operational teams, including the company secretarial department, administration department and compliance team on all aspects of financial reporting and board meeting deliverables
  • Attend audit committee and board meetings, as a representative of the administrator
 
To apply for this Senior Associate Financial Reporting role, your soft skills, expertise and experience should include:
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in preparing management accounts and financial statements
  • Previous experience in a client-facing role
  • Sound technical financial services knowledge, to include the requirements of IFRS and FRS102
  • Knowledge of the UK or AIC Code of Corporate Governance, TISE and LSE listing rules (desirable)
