Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Producer of shows to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong creative eye, work with EP to set the editorial and creative direction of production, has the ability to manage complex tasks while leading a diverse and talented team. he will be responsible for ensuring that all creative and production processes run smoothly, meet tight deadlines, and deliver top-tier quality. The content developed by your team provides value to AJ+ by creating an intellectual and emotional connection with its audience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the production of high-quality shows, guiding both creative and
production teams to execute the vision. - Oversee creative treatments and maintain editorial direction in line with the
show's guidelines and objectives. - Lead talent and content creators on social media, understanding the audience and curating ideas that align with target demographics.
- Differentiate content formats for multiple platforms, ensuring that creative concepts are tailored to the specific needs of each platform.
- Full understanding of platform-specific curation, ensuring that content for social media, digital, and broadcast aligns with the appropriate format and style.
- Create compelling ideas that resonate with the audience while adhering strictly to editorial guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, ensuring that ideas are clearly conveyed and understood by both creative and production staff.
- Handle multiple tasks simultaneously, managing project timelines and resources with precision and efficiency.
- Work well under pressure, meeting tight deadlines while maintaining the highest standards of production quality.
- Foster a collaborative environment, ensuring smooth communication and workflow across remote and on-set teams.
- Maintain extraordinary follow-up, ensuring that all aspects of the production process are moving forward smoothly.
- Manage on-set operations, coordinating teams of creatives, technical staff, and other key personnel to ensure seamless execution of the production.
- Stay updated on industry trends, particularly in remote production workflows and technological advancements.
- Aware of research and proper sources, integrating accurate and well-vetted information into creative projects.
Key Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Senior Producer or similar leadership role in the production industry.• Strong understanding of creative processes, production workflows, and on-set operations.
- Editorially aware with a deep understanding of guidelines and creative direction.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to lead teams and present ideas clearly.• Experience working in high-pressure environments and managing tight deadlines.
- Solid understanding of remote production workflows and the ability to manage teams in various locations.
- Proven ability to lead talent and content creators on social media, with a clear understanding of audience engagement and the ability to curate tailored ideas for different platforms.
- A high understanding of editorial guidelines and the ability to create compelling content while maintaining these standards.
- Experience with audience research and working with accurate, trusted sources.
- Exceptional ability to multitask and oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong leadership qualities with a talent for managing diverse creative and production teams.
