Senior ERP Administration Specialist
12 Month Contract
The role is basically specialized in ERP system administration aspects including ERP users and authorizations administration, system security, landscape management, architect, maintenance, upgrades, migration (SAP BASIS complex functions), this role extends to SME for the overall ERP technical architecture and its interlinks / interfaces with other 3rd party applications / S/Ws. Additionally this role should also have a solid knowledge and hands-on experience over the ERP different DBs and OSs e.g. AIX, LINUX, Oracle, SQL, DB2, and OS400.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide installation, configuration, integration, upgrade, testing and tuning/optimization services for new projects and on-going maintenance for the SAP ECC6 environment
• Extensive knowledge in administration of SAP BI, SAP Enterprise Portal, SAP PI, and Solution Manager.
• Provide performance tuning, problem analysis, upgrades and system administration for ECC6.0 databases and SAP instances
• Knowledge in performing client copies, system refreshes, and SAP troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of SAP Correction and Transport System and SAP Security management.
• Knowledge of single sign-on (SSO) solutions to portal and backend R/3 and BI systems.
• Develop and execute SAP data archiving strategy for BI and Enterprise
• Review and implement the recommendations of SAP EarlyWatch sessions
• Interact with SAP development teams, configuration teams, various technical support teams, and business stakeholders to optimize and maintain the overall SAP reliability, availability, and performance.
• Provide support in AIX administration including space management, monitoring, performance tuning and security.
• Research, identify, and formally present opportunities to increase productivity, improve quality, and reduce costs for SAP landscape
• Maintain standard operating procedures and documentation.
• Provide technical expertise and functional knowledge on SAP Basis systems and applications
• Research new and better ways of solving business problems using SAP Technologies
• Develop and maintain effective working relationships with the company’s SAP applications owners, IT Infrastructure team and third-party OS/Network/DBA teams
• Mentor/provides technical guidance to other systems analysts, programmer analysts and SAP developers
• Communicate timely and relevant status updates (both verbal and written) to team members and management

Education:
• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or related field
• SAP Certified
Experience:
• 6+ years of experience in SAP System Administration and architecture
