Are you ready to be the driving force behind change in the food service technology world?
As a Business Development Executive (BDE) at Agilysys, you’ll lead the charge in helping enterprise-level organizations—spanning healthcare, higher education, business dining, and more—modernize the way they operate, serve, and succeed.
You’ll introduce customers to a next-generation suite of hospitality solutions—including POS, kiosks, mobile ordering, and inventory & procurement platforms—that streamline operations, elevate guest experiences, and boost profitability.
We’re looking for a hunter-minded, consultative SaaS sales pro who thrives on uncovering opportunity, crafting value-driven solutions, and closing strategic enterprise deals
What You’ll Do
- Own the full sales cycle: Prospect, qualify, present, negotiate, and close new business within the FSM sector.
- Hunt and expand: Build a robust pipeline by identifying and engaging new enterprise accounts across healthcare, education, business dining, and amusement parks.
- Drive revenue growth: Consistently meet and exceed quarterly and annual SaaS sales targets.
- Lead with insight: Leverage deep industry knowledge and data-driven insights to demonstrate how our POS and ordering solutions drive operational efficiency and revenue growth.
- Build trusted partnerships: Become a strategic advisor to clients, understanding their operational goals and aligning our solutions to deliver measurable ROI.
- Stay sharp on competition: Understand the FSM technology landscape, competitor strengths and weaknesses, and position our platform as the leading choice for innovation and scalability.
- Maintain pipeline discipline: Keep meticulous CRM records, forecast accurately, and execute a repeatable, scalable sales process
Success Looks Like:
- Meeting or exceeding new business and revenue goals consistently.
- Establishing strong relationships with senior decision-makers across target verticals
- Recognized as a trusted advisor who drives both customer success and business growth.
- Deep understanding of the FSM operations and the technology ecosystem shaping the industry
What You’ll Bring
- 7+ years of proven success selling enterprise SaaS or hospitality software, ideally in PMS, POS, or guest engagement technologies.
- Proven hunter mindset with a track record of exceeding new business quotas.
- Expertise with value-based, consultative selling and creating ROI driven business cases
- Strong communication and presentation skills—able to engage everyone from property-level managers to C-suite executives.
- Data-driven decision-maker who uses insight and analytics to guide strategies.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills — able to engage stakeholders from operations to the C-suite.
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 50% for client meetings, trade shows, and industry events.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
