ActioNet has a open opportunity for a skilled Program Manager in the San Antonio, TX area. In this role, you will oversee all aspects of the program, ensuring alignment with objectives, adherence to timelines, and successful delivery of outcomes. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement IT Service Management (ITSM) practices based on ITIL v4 (or the latest version) and will be instrumental in resolving issues, mitigating risks, and driving operational improvements.

  • Primary Responsibilities:   
      • Managing the programs and initiatives outlined in contract award.  
      • Coordinate resources and collaborate with client personnel on assigned work.  
      • Oversee deliverables and schedules and communicate program status to client leads. 
      • Plans and leads major information technology assignments and projects.  
      • Possess and apply comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high impact assignments.  
      • Evaluates performance results and recommends major changes affecting short-term project growth and success.  
      • Functions as a programmatic expert across multiple project assignments.  
      • Serve as a liaison between business and technical aspects of projects.  
      • Plan project stages and assess business implications for each stage.  
      • Monitor progress to assure deadlines, standards, and cost targets are met.  
      • Performs the most complex independent thinking, tasks, and may supervise others.  
      • Experience managing and directing activities of a large multi-disciplinary IT support groups.  
      • Experience developing and leading complex Information Technology program plans to address needs and requirements, investigating, and resolving problems, interfacing with other functional support groups and outside personnel, preparing capital and operating requests, managing Subcontractors’ staff, and executing program / business plans.  
      • Experience organizing and directing work and directing personnel and multi-discipline teams to achieve objectives.  
      • Experience addressing complaints and resolving problems associated with TO PWS requirements.  
      • Perform other duties as required. 
      
    Required Experience: 
      • Three to five years Program, Project and Contract Management experience related to Military Health Systems (MHS), Veterans Administration (VA), and/or Commercial Healthcare Systems. 
      • Experience with multiple contract types: Fixed Price (FP), Time & Material (T&M), and Indefinite delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ). 
      
    Required Degree: 
      • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent, in business or related field. 
      
    Certifications (Preferred): 
      • Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) 
      • ITIL 4 Foundation
