Absolute Dental is the largest network of general and specialty dental practices in Nevada! We are excited to welcome a dedicated and compassionate Hygiene Dental Assistant to our growing team in Carson City, Nevada.
💰 Starting pay: $18.00/hr

Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Hygiene Dental Assistant who is passionate about delivering excellent patient care. In this role, you will support our hygiene team with both clinical and administrative tasks while helping create a comfortable and welcoming experience for every patient.
We welcome candidates with experience, but we are also happy to train individuals who are eager to learn and grow.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and escort patients, ensuring comfort and a positive experience
- Prepare patients for hygiene procedures and routine examinations
- Set up, sterilize, and maintain instruments and equipment according to safety standards
- Assist hygienists chairside during procedures, including coronal polishing (if certified)
- Provide patients with oral hygiene education and post-treatment instructions
- Maintain clean, organized, and fully stocked operatories
Qualifications
- Dental assisting experience is a plus, but not required—we provide training
- Familiarity with dental instruments and sterilization procedures preferred
- Understanding of infection control and safety protocols
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow clinical procedures
- Basic computer skills; dental software experience is a plus
- A positive attitude and strong commitment to patient care
