Sales Development Representative, EMEA

Please Note: The ideal candidate will be based in the UK to enable collaboration with the wider team and assist in their knowledge and skills development. Within commutable distance of our Reading office would also be a bonus.
Our Sales Development team is the vanguard of our business, with Sales Development Reps (SDRs) driving interest in Absolute and initiating the sales cycle. In this role, you will collaborate with our Marketing and Account Executive teams to research and build a pipeline in new and existing accounts. You will follow up on both inbound and outbound leads across EMEA, engaging with English-speaking and German-speaking prospects. Your exceptional communication and critical thinking skills will enable you to quickly assess opportunities and secure meetings with key account personas for our Account Executives. You’ll drive revenue growth from new account acquisitions and foster expansion and cross-sell opportunities with existing customers.
Responsibilities:
- Generate and qualify leads, identifying prospects genuinely interested in our cybersecurity solutions.
- Prioritize and research prospects, understanding their current IT situation, challenges, and needs.
- Engage prospective clients via phone, email, and social media (LinkedIn) to convey Absolute’s unique value propositions.
- Schedule qualified meetings for Sales through cold calling and strategic outreach, converting them into pipeline opportunities.
- Build and prioritize strategic account lists within a defined segment.
- Foster alignment and positive partnerships with internal Field Sales and Marketing teams.
- Participate in virtual and/or in-person events as needed.
- Utilize our CRM system (Salesforce) to log activity and lead conversion data for business transparency.
- Protect the security and privacy of Absolute and its customers to the JD
Requirements:
- Proficiency in German (native/full proficiency preferred, business/professional proficiency considered).
- Resilience and a fearless approach to challenges, particularly in objection handling.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with customers, prospects, and team members.
- Ambitious individuals eager to learn and contribute significantly to the business's continued success.
- Previous sales experience (1-3 years preferred) with a proven track record of consistently opening qualified opportunities that lead to revenue.
- Experience in B2B lead generation, ideally within the cybersecurity space, is a bonus but not essential.
