ABOUT THE ROLE

 

At 3Degrees, we work with companies around the world to take immediate action towards net zero. This is a fixed-term role for up to 1-year.  In this role you will be a key contributor to our international growth, operating as a key partner to ensure our European and Asian based Global Business Solutions (GBS) and Power Markets (PM) teams are running as efficiently and productively as possible, supporting our growing infrastructure and processes to elevate our operations to a world-class level. With a balance of a tactical and a strategic focus, you will manage and improve pre and post-sales processes, develop procedures and manage sales functions. This position is open to candidates preferably based within a commutable distance of our offices in Oslo, Norway, where you can enjoy a flexible, hybrid-working pattern.  Exceptional candidates based remotely in Italy, Spain, UK or Netherlands may also be considered. This role reports to the Associate Director, Commercial Operations. 3Degrees does not provide sponsorship and /or relocation assistance for non-European nationals in any of our European roles, therefore pre-existing right to work status or full work visa for the nations listed above is a prerequisite in order to be considered for this position. 

WHAT YOU'LL DO

With a balance of a tactical and a strategic focus, you will manage and improve consulting processes, develop procedures, and manage consulting functions to elevate our teams by raising their game to new standards. Key responsibilities include:

        Support the Commercial team technology stack (Salesforce, Mission Control, Groove, et al,) by responding to JIRA requests and providing admin support

        Optimize existing tools, identify needs for new tools and actively implement solutions

        Work with Commercial leadership and other 3Degrees functions to identify opportunities for process improvement and data management

        Establish processes for data entry/integration, analysis, reporting and refinement of key performance indicators

        Work with other analysts to provide, maintain and evolve clear, accurate, and insightful reports and dashboards to stakeholders

        Support business development productivity by establishing business development processes and resolving pain points

        Support delivery of key recommendations during the quarterly and annual planning process

        Responsible for ensuring execution of training and learning plans for new and existing staff including people, process and technology
 

 

ABOUT YOU

You are a naturally driven self-starter with a proven ability to lead, coach and collaborate with team members across a broad range of functions and levels while thinking about the bigger picture of how teams can function more cohesively and effectively:

        At least 3 years operational leadership combined with business intelligence and data analysis experience

        Strong data management skills and advanced knowledge of Excel, and Power Point

        Power user of SalesForce

        Understanding of programming or querying languages (familiarity with tools like Tableau)

        Sales operations experience and ability to independently lead projects to completion

        Must be able to take the lead and work independently

        Must be able to think and act with a combination of strategic and tactical focus

        Must be able to work with colleagues across teams,  regions and cultures to maintain positive work relationships

        Excellent organizational and interpersonal communication skills, comfortable interacting with all levels of individuals across the organization

        Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience

HOW WE DEFINE SUCCESS

Within 30 days

        You will have a firm understanding of 3Degrees Commercial structure, team responsibilities, products and service offerings

        You will have developed a practical understanding of our Global Business Solutions (GBS) and Power Markets (PM) (Prospecting, Sales Process, Invoicing, Project Deliveries), along with the technologies that support these

Within 90 days

        You will have a firm understanding of cross-functional processes, key tools (Lexion, Artemis, Salesforce, Mission Control) and data flows

        You will be proficient in managing and closing support requests in JIRA

        You will be proficient in generating reports and dashboards to support the commercial team
 

Within 6 months

        You will be working with minimum supervision, actively managing EU, North American and Asia commercial relationships and projects

        You will have developed a more advanced understanding of the unique challenges our teams face and be able to propose solutions

        You will be proficient in the key support tasks of the role and begin to recommend and manage full process and data improvement projects
