This comp for this position will be based on the expertise level of MSR, MBS and Loans. The salary will be somewhere between 180k - 220k. You can work from home.
 
The RiskSpan Edge Platform is a suite of SaaS products that integrate data, predictive modeling, scenario analytics and BI for data visualization. The platform supports a range of products including residential mortgage loans and MSRs, MBS, structured products, and derivatives. Our scalable, could-native platform enables you to make better business decisions based on uncommon insights into historical trends and advanced predictive forecasts.
  
The RiskSpan suite of Solutions supports originators, servicers, mortgage REITs, banks, asset managers, and other holders of mortgage loan and/or MSR assets. Our solution suite serves portfolio managers, traders, risk managers as well as data managers and analysts across these institution-types.
  
Primary Responsibilities:
RiskSpan is seeking a multi-faceted leader that is both client-oriented and product-oriented to join its client management team supporting and expanding our large, complex clients that manage a combination of MSR, MBS and mortgage loans. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of the mortgage market/industry with subject matter expertise in mortgage loan/MSR products as well as mortgage/MSR data, valuation, modeling, and risk analytics. The candidate should be able to add value to clients through a strong understanding of how our products provide solutions in the mortgage/MSR valuation and analytics space and an ability to work closely with product engineers to enhance the product over time. In addition, the candidate should also be able to build, develop and manage client relationships for the long-term with an eye toward expanding those relationships over time through new solutions.
  
Client Manager
  • Ensure client satisfaction and customer success through building a strong connection and trust with the client and its leadership.
  • Ensure a high level of platform adoption such that clients are getting maximum value out of the platform and its capabilities.
  • Foster ongoing dialogue with clients to ensure full use of the platform’s modeling and analytics capabilities and to identify key product requirements and enhancements that would solve business needs across clients.
  • Expand client relationships over time by introducing clients to the broad set of solutions and services offered by RiskSpan.
  • Support Sales team as a product and subject matter expert for demos/trials for prospects evaluating RiskSpan’s loan and MSR capabilities.
Product Knowledge and Expertise
  • Develop expertise with the RiskSpan platform and product suite – in particular for Loan and MSR valuation and risk analytics.
  • Provide higher-level support for clients with questions and inquiries that require deeper subject matter expertise in core client focus areas (such as MSRs).
  • Create scale by training broader support teams over time to provide higher quality and increased self-sufficient support in clients’ core focus areas.
  • Grow a working knowledge of the current/future needs of clients and the broader market as well as the competitive landscape of other analytics providers (relative to what RiskSpan has to offer).
  • Drive continual advancements in the product to make the product increasingly valuable to prospects and clients and continually differentiated from competitors.
  • Communicate product requirements and enhancements to the Engineering team and collaborate with the Engineering team and other support teams on acceptance criteria, implementation and testing of new functionality.
Leader
  • Develop and maintain an effective client strategy and account plan, in collaboration with the RiskSpan executive team.
  • Develop and maintain a high level of knowledge about RiskSpan’s products and services.
  • Develop and maintain an understanding of the marketplace, competitive offerings and other business issues relevant to the position.
  • Provide feedback from client interactions to RiskSpan team and management with regard to product, selling, competitive issues and other matters.

Educational & Training Requirements
  • BA/BS preferred or equivalent work experience with demonstrated proficiency
  • 10+ years in financial services, preferably in the mortgage industry and with
  • experience in MSRs
  • Prior knowledge and expertise in mortgage valuation and analytics
  • Experience working directly with clients
