Position Overview
We are seeking a Reporting Analyst with expertise in Power BI and a strong background in residential mortgage data. The ideal candidate will have experience in data visualization, reporting automation, and financial data analysis to support business intelligence initiatives.

Primary Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance Power BI dashboards and reports to support business decision-making.
- Work with large datasets from mortgage servicing, origination, and secondary markets to provide analytical insights.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define reporting requirements and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Extract, transform, and analyze mortgage-related data from multiple sources, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
- Automate reporting workflows and optimize data models for improved performance.
- Support ad-hoc data analysis requests and present findings to business leaders.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and data governance standards in reporting.
- Contribute to the analysis and documentation of complex business processes and technical problems, participating in the development and implementation of end-user computing applications.
- Assist in the development of business requirements and actively participate in software testing activities associated with the delivery of applications and financial models.
- Interpret and communicate results of data analysis and model output to clients accurately and effectively.
- Support analysis related to client business problems using valid statistical methods and tools. Identify trends, anomalies, and key insights within mortgage data to drive strategic initiatives.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in reporting and data analysis, preferably in financial services or mortgage analytics.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Physics, Information Management Systems, or Computer Science.
- Expertise with data visualization software specifically PowerBI. Knowledge of Tableau, Qlik, or Looker preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Power BI, including DAX and Power Query.
- Experience with SQL for querying and manipulating large datasets.
- Familiarity with Python or R for data analysis is an advantage.
- Hands-on experience with residential mortgage data, including loan origination, servicing, and risk assessment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage client-facing project management activities.
- Proven ability to take initiative, ownership of deliverables and lead tasks on projects.
- Excellent communication skills to convey data insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
