We are looking for a sharp IT Recruiter that will hold 20% Administrative Assistant duties to fill the following role in our New York office
 
JOB DESCRIPTION
The IT Recruiter will be responsible for assisting Human Resources and General Management with various tasks and projects including identifying, qualifying and recruiting talented candidates that meet the needs of our client companies.
 
The ideal individual should be people-oriented, with high energy and a sense of urgency. We are looking for someone with boundless curiosity and who enjoys researching the internet to find less obvious information. Internet research should be second nature.
 
Additionally, the position requires knowledge in administrative duties.
 
Responsibilities include:
*Assisting HR with sourcing high level executives, developers and testers utilizing creative search methods
*Sourcing passive candidates through networking, cold calling, complex internet searches, and research.
*Communicating directly with candidates as necessary, depending on the level of the search
*Preparing recruiting and hiring reports
*Candidate data entry, updating, tracking, and database management
*Conducting reference and background checks
*Leverage Social Networking for recruitment (ie: LinkedIn)
*Project work requiring forward thinking, multi-tasking, and prioritizing
*Handle incoming phone calls and provide appropriate information
*Maintain and coordinate calendars, schedule appointments and meetings
*Arrange travel schedules and itineraries (air, hotel, rental car, etc.)
*Schedule conference calls and interviews
*Handle confidential, personal and company information
*Filing of confidential HR documents
 
Qualifications
*2 years of solid administrative experience
*2+ years of sourcing and IT Recruiting 
*Strong sense of ethics and professionalism
*Excellent internet navigation skills
*Must have experience with various social & professional networking sites
*Prior employee database or similar tools experience a plus
*Deep concern for the client and candidate’s needs
*Highly computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (especially Word and Excel)
*Excellent telephone etiquette
*Well-developed writing and communication skills
*Ability to multitask efficiently
*Effective typing skills (minimum 50 WPM)
