Job Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain a mature and high-performing COE engineering team through the following:
    • Work with Resource Manager to maintain a healthy mix of Architect/Tech Leads/Developers/Testers
    • Keep a high skill index through continuous training of team members
    • Define and operate internal and external training programs and certifications with strong focus on outcomes
  • Define & operationalize industry best practices and automated tools to be used by team members on projects
  • Support pre-sales activities around proposal development, estimation, RFP responses
  • Contribute to thought leadership: blogs, webinars etc
  • “Product manage” practice asset build initiatives such as frameworks/POCs/Demos/others.
  • Get regular inputs from the field by collaborating with Sales, AM and Delivery organization
  • Conceive ideas to help optimize delivery and disseminate it to the delivery team
  • Head an architecture/SME group which reviews strategic delivery projects to ensure optimum solutions
  • Work with Resource Manager/Delivery to solve competency issues arising in projects
  • Effective utilisation of resources in available pool
  • Support scaling practice to new locations
  • Support HR/RMG for recruitment activities
  • Assists Practice management with partners development.

 

Required Qualification / Experience

 

  • 15+ years software industry experience providing technology solutions to customers
  • Proven track record of managing dynamic, high performing technology teams
  • Experience setting up & continuously improve frameworks to manage COE
  • Ability to plan, execute & track technology training programs, including certifications for team
  • Candidate who strongly believes in leading by example & inspires team / co-workers to attain goals and pursue excellence
  • Candidate should have strong collaboration skills with the ability to successfully manage multiple activities/initiatives in parallel
  • Remains on the forefront of emerging industry practices with strong focus on automation & innovation
