Senior JavaScript Developer

Product & Engineering San Mateo, California

Description

AtScale is at the center of a profound shift in our space.
As more of the biggest data deployments in the world move to the cloud, many are left behind, unable to safely transfer their data load from legacy datastores and into the future. AtScale is the only technology in the world that can unlock this data, get it into the cloud, and into the hands of their users.

The Apps team is a tight-knit group, and is essential to staying strides ahead of our competition.
We need someone that can come into that environment, and use the autonomy and freedom that our position provides to ship high-quality, high-impact code.

We're looking for someone with the confidence to take on large-scale front-end projects, the humility to ask for help from their team when needed, and the determination to get that project shipped.
If you want to make a nearly immediate impact on the business, grow as an engineer, and have fun doing it, this is the place for you.

Our ideal teammate
...has written entire front-end applications in Javascript
...some experience with Golang would be a nice to have
...loves solving new problems that don't have "off the shelf" solutions
...is excited to try out new and emerging features of Javascript
...has familiarity with React
...has at least 3 years experience shipping software to customers
...is comfortable asking for help from your team if needed
...enjoys bamboozling coworkers playing board games during lunch
