The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of data analytics and reporting, as well as hands on experience with business intelligence tools, and modern cloud data warehousing technologies. You will also have a proven track record of leading and executing complex product initiatives.

This position presents an ideal opportunity for someone with a strong technical background, knowledge and experience working with data intelligence tools like PowerBI, Tableau, SSAS who is excited to stay on top of industry trends, business, and customer needs.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Technical Acumen - Ability to work with engineers on technical design tradeoffs, including platforms, frameworks, scalability, and performance.

• Drive delivery of market and customer requirements, including definition, prioritization, trade-offs, and execution of release goals. 

• Understand, research, and follow technical business intelligence and analytics trends in the industry.

• Strategic/Tactical Balance - Ability to balance the market and product vision with disciplined tactical execution.

• Communicate the user value of the product features, document the use cases and drive field and sales engineering enablement.  

• You are the market, customer, and product expert for your product to the rest of the organization.

Qualifications 

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree required 

• Experience authoring Power BI Reports and report-scoped DAX expressions and Tabular models.

• Experience authoring Tableau Reports with report-scoped expressions.

• Experience launching products based on cloud-based data analytics platforms, modern data warehousing technologies, and business intelligence tools. 

• 2+ years of product owner or product management experience.

• Solid Product Management experience and knowledge, Design Thinking, and Customer Discovery. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Experience with two or more data manipulation or programming languages, such as: DAX, MDX, SQL, Python

• Experience working with mutli-dimensional Microsoft SQL Server Analysis services models

• Operational  experience deploying Power BI Reports and Tableau reports to PowerBI Service and/or Tableau Cloud.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills. 

• Leveled presence in customer meetings. 

• Strong bias for action and customer empathy. 

• Experience with modern data analytics, transformation and reporting tools, such as Looker, Thoughtspot, LookML and Dbt. 

• Experience working with Analytics Engineering, Data Operations and Data Engineers. 

• The successful candidate will be a self-starter; this individual must be adaptable, persuasive, tenacious and perceptive and be able to execute a well-developed plan 

• Strong planning and execution skills.
