Manager, EMEA Channel Marketing
Description
The Opportunity:
Ookla is at a pivotal growth milestone, and we are looking for a results-driven Manager, EMEA Channel Marketing to lead the execution and growth of our partner ecosystem across the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) region.
This is a high-impact role designed for a marketer who excels at taking global strategies and turning them into localized, high-performing reality. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Global Channel Marketing, you will be the primary driver of channel growth and partner engagement in the EMEA theater. While you will contribute your regional expertise to help shape global initiatives, your primary focus will be the "boots on the ground" management of our EMEA partners, ensuring they are enabled, engaged, and delivering high-quality pipeline.
Key Responsibilities:
EMEA Regional Execution & Management
- Top-Tier Engagement: Act as the primary marketing lead for our most strategic channel partners across EMEA, designing and executing Joint Marketing Plans (JMPs) that drive measurable revenue.
- Field Support: Provide foundational marketing support and enablement tools to the full partner ecosystem within the EMEA theater, ensuring marketing activities align with regional sales quotas.
- Regional Advocacy: Serve as the "Voice of the EMEA Partner" internally. Collaborate closely with the Global Channel lead to ensure global campaigns are localized effectively and that EMEA-specific market nuances inform the global roadmap.
- Event & Field Execution: Lead the execution of regional partner events, webinars, and localized "campaign-in-a-box" initiatives, ensuring high partner adoption and ROI.
- Partner Enablement & Success: Architect partner success by translating global product strategies into localized, actionable toolkits—including high-impact collateral and "campaign-in-a-box" initiatives—to equip and inspire EMEA distributors and resellers to lead with our solutions.
Program Contribution & Alignment
- Global Contributor: Provide data-driven feedback and regional insights to the Senior Manager, Global Channel Marketing to support the evolution of global program tiering, benefit structures, and resource allocation.
- Brand Stewardship: Ensure the "one-company" brand framework is consistently applied across all EMEA partner collateral and co-marketing activities.
- MDF Oversight: Manage the EMEA portion of the Market Development Funds, ensuring partners adhere to ROI benchmarks, proof-of-performance standards, and streamlined approval workflows.
Enablement & Operations
- Technical Execution: In partnership with the Global lead and Sales Ops, manage the EMEA partner journey within Salesforce and Pardot, optimizing lead routing and deal registration for regional partners.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor and report on the health of the EMEA partner ecosystem, utilizing data to prove marketing attribution and recommend regional program adjustments.
- Workflow Efficiency: Identify regional friction points in the partner onboarding and execution process and work with the global team to implement streamlined workflows.
Job Qualifications:
- Experience: 5+ years in Channel Marketing, Partner Marketing, or Field Marketing, with a proven track record of executing programs in a B2B SaaS or technology environment.
- Regional Expertise: Significant experience managing partner relationships specifically within the EMEA market, with a deep understanding of cultural nuances and localized marketing execution.
- Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Salesforce and Pardot (or similar MAP/CRM integrations).
- Financial Acumen: Strong experience managing regional budgets/MDF and a disciplined approach to measuring ROI.
- Collaborative Mindset: Ability to work as a key contributor within a global framework, reporting to global leadership while maintaining strong cross-functional ties with regional sales teams.
- Action-Oriented Execution: A proactive self-starter who excels at end-to-end program delivery and relationship management, ensuring 100% lead follow-through and equipping every partner with the tools necessary to scale.
- Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to influence partners and build consensus among stakeholders across different time zones and cultures
