TiVo Ads (a division within Xperi) is looking for a US based (remote/hybrid) Sales Director to join our Data sales team. The Sales Director will be responsible for establishing and implementing a strategic go to market sales plan to drive revenue within the US market for TiVo’s TV viewership data licensing product which contains viewership data passively captured from set-top boxes and Smart TVs via ACR technology for content and advertising measurement. The ideal candidate will have a start-up mentality and deep understanding of TV data applications across the digital ecosystem. This position will uncover new opportunities for data licensing that will drive growth of our US data licensing portfolio.   
   
Responsibilities:  
  • Meet and exceed aggressive sales and revenue goals.    
  • Identify and prospect new clients, requiring strong relationships building amongst both client direct and third-party partnerships.   
  • Ability to demonstrate and articulate in-depth industry knowledge within CTV and Ad Tech, particularly as it relates to current trends and competitive landscape.   
  • Excellent communication skills to provide ongoing feedback across key stakeholders (internal and external) to help expedite the achievement of business goals and objectives.  
  • Organized individual with ability to prioritize internal and external priorities and manage sales pipeline and forecasts.  
  • Public speaking at events conferences and collaborations with industry associations.   
  • Ability to work collaboratively and confidently with clients, across internal teams and with senior leadership.  
  • Build a culture of sharing and disseminate best in class work across the team and broader organization  
Qualifications:  
  • Sales superstar, consistently exceeding revenue targets and setting a high bar.  
  • Minimum 7 years of client facing experience in the advertising technology industry   
  • Startup mentality with a customer centric mindset, not afraid of aggressive growth targets.  
  • In-depth understanding of TV/CTV data applications that fuel the digital advertising ecosystem for audience measurement and targeting to optimize advertising investments and other KPIs
