This is a hybrid position which requires 8 days per month in the office. You can be based in our office in Indonesia. Existing work authorization is required at the time of application submission as WRI is unable to sponsor any visa work sponsorship for this position.

Job Highlight:

 

Reporting to the P4G Partnership Manager, you will be responsible for proactive planning and implementation of processes to select, manage, and accelerate P4G’s innovative climate startup partnerships. In addition to internal coordination of partnership activities, you will engage with P4G stakeholders in government, civil society, global institutions and the private sector from Africa, Asia, Europe, and Latin America who are committed to advancing green growth through climate startups.
 

You will develop, maintain, and improve procedures and tools to enable the ongoing management of P4G’s portfolio of partnerships from application through to contracting and project kick-off, through implementation, close out and lessons learned. You will support the needs of the partnerships management processes working across the P4G global teams.

 

What will you do:

 

Partnerships origination support (40%):

 

  • Provide administrative and logistical support for the partnership selection process and ongoing partnership support activities
  • Maintain and update systems to manage information submitted by selected partnerships and partnership applicants
  • Support the internal and external coordination for the P4G Call for Partnerships application process
  • •Support in ensuring financial contract requirements are fully understood and met by all partners/sub grantees
  • Support collecting information to conduct Organizational Assessments and due diligence exercises for potential sub grantees/project partners

 

Partnership grant and operation management support (40%):

 

  • Support subgrant manager in tracking subgrants, invoices and financial reporting
  • Provide support to partnership project managers coordinating meetings, collecting information, updating systems. Potential to serve in the future as a project manager for select partnerships as assigned if needed and according to experience

 

General partnership support (20% time):

 

  • Ensure timely back up of Airtable data in SharePoint
  • Provide logistical and administrative support for key P4G events including partnership workshops, Summits. Facilitate events as assigned
  • Prepare materials for internal and external stakeholders presentations, reports, publications, and meetings, including webinars and governance meetings

 

What will you need:

 

  • Education: You have completed a bachelor’s in international business, finance, engineering or climate or related sciences. Relevant work experience in lieu of degree is accepted
  • Experience: You have a minimum of 2 years of relevant, full-time work experience and strong demonstrated interest in international development, cross-sector partnerships, and/or sustainable development
  • Experience in administrative management, project coordination support, or demonstrate other project management skills
  • Experience working in a multi-stakeholder and international environment
  • Superb interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work collegially with others and with the highest standards of integrity
  • Excellent writing, editing, and oral communication skills
  • Highly proficiency in Microsoft suite of tools including Excel and other related data management software such as Airtable
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and efficient
  • Highly self-motivated with demonstrated success working with remotely located colleagues
  • Commitment to P4G’s mission of inclusive green growth and partnership
  • Languages: You are proficient in written and spoken English. Proficiency in one or more languages of P4G member countries a plus
  • Requirements: Existing work authorization is required where this position is based. WRI is unable to authorize visa work authorization

 

Potential Salary:  Salary is commensurate with experience and other compensable factors.
