India Resources Trust, an independent charity legally registered also known as “WRI India”, provides objective information and practical proposals to foster environmentally sound and socially equitable development. WRI India’s mission is to move human society to live in ways that protect Earth’s environment and its capacity to provide for the needs and aspirations of current and future generations. Through research, analysis, and recommendations, WRI India puts ideas into action to build transformative solutions to protect the earth, promote livelihoods, and enhance human well-being.
We are inspired by and associated with World Resources Institute (WRI), a global research organization. Currently over 300 researchers are working with WRI India in our offices at Delhi, Mumbai and Bengaluru.
Overview for Operations Team
WRI India Operations team supports the crucial front-line work of the organization, they directly interact and work with Donors, Partners, Government agencies, Statutory bodies, Trustees, Vendors, and Consultants in fielding their inquiries, providing support at all the fronts and solving problems. So that the WRI India programs can be implemented without any hurdles and the program staff and researchers can develop high quality research documents, plans and implement the programs at the field level.
How your day will unfold:
Contract Processing and Documentation:
- Review all contract requests and perform due diligence.
Event contract processing:
- Process all event related documents including but not limited to agreements, contracts, work orders, purchase orders and letters.
- Coordinate conference and event logistics for all workshops.
- Process all documents including but not limited to agreements, contracts, work orders, purchase orders and letters.
- Document processes effectively to maintain clarity and traceability.
- Follow up with respective teams to facilitate timely processing of contracts.
- Actively coordinate and collaborate with all stakeholders to maintain the accuracy of data.
Due diligence and Compliance:
- Verify all information provided for processing of any documents as mentioned above including but not limited to Scope of work, procurement document, payment terms and all other institutional requirements.
- Provide guidance and address queries on all compliance and due diligence requirements raised by internal or external stake holders.
Contract life cycle Management:
- Candidate will be responsible for complete contract life cycle management.
- Maintain contract checklist data and procurement documents
- To maintain and continuously update internal management tool
- Support in generating monthly reports and all other reports as required
Negotiation Support:
- Assist and coordinate with legal team in negotiating clauses and terms.
Administration
- Coordinates and schedules team meetings and assists in coordination of team’s annual planning processes
- Update and maintain new hire consultant information with operations.
- Coordinate with stake holders for new consultant hires and process the consultancy engagements.
- Manage various program, department, and organizational trackers
- Other duties may be assigned
Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 to 4 years in contract processing and contract life cycle management.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Proficient in in Microsoft tools esp. Excel, Word, Power point and Share Point.
- Ability to work proactively and professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- A bachelor’s degree in business administration/law/finance
Salary and Benefits: 9,50,000 INR to 12,50,000 INR CTC Per annum
Salary shall be commensurate with experience and skills. WRI offers a generous and comprehensive benefits package.

Duration:1 year as term hire (extendable based on performance and project requirements)
Location: Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore India
