Weston is seeking a Project Manager for management of fueling system related projects.  The Project Manager will oversee the planning, development, and execution of fueling systems projects, ensuring they meet scope, budget, and schedule requirements. The role includes leading engineering tasks, supporting design and construction plans, and ensuring quality assurance within the scope, budget, schedule, and the quality expectations established.  The Project Manager also supports management staff in completing engineering design, technical research, construction plans, specifications, report preparation, and quality assurance reviews. Weston is seeking a professional in this role with fueling design experience.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities 
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management, plus a minimum of 6 to 8 years related experience in fueling system project management.
  • Professional Engineer licensure preferred. (Multiple States preferred).
  • Provides supervision for technical tasks and assignments for engineers, technicians, and administrative/financial staff.
  • Able to prepare proposals and presentations.
  • Able to meet time sensitive deadlines and carry out multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Able to master financial systems to evaluate profitability and track budgets.
  • Effective communication skills with internal teams and external clients.
  • Maintains a valid driver’s license and can travel.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office software including Project.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills to prepare and review reports, design documents, proposals, and engineering/construction cost estimates.
  • Able to work effectively in group settings and direct engineering/construction staff on design and installation tasks.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities that will help you stand out from the others: 
  • Experience with non-Federal liquid fuels projects in the energy (petroleum) or transportation (railroad) preferred.
  • API, STI, NACE or other applicable certifications
Desired experience in the following:
  • Repair and upgrades of fueling infrastructure including above and underground storage tanks
  • Design and installation of fueling systems and ancillary equipment
Responsibilities: 
  • Planning, organizing, and directing the completion of all phases of the project, including investigative, engineering design, construction, and startup.
  • Ensure project phases are on time, on budget, and within scope.
  • Interface with the Client and third parties (as necessary) to deliver the project.
  • Interface with internal resources necessary to project execution including procurement, contracts management, financial, etc.
  • Develop and report project progress including estimates to complete, subcontractor financial projections, resource needs.
  • Train and mentor less experienced staff in project management.
  • Coordinates and reviews progress reports for internal and external (client) use
  • Utilize engineering resources to prepare and issue contractor-supplier scopes of work and obtain quotes, review contractor submittals, and support the construction team.
  • Leads proposal preparation efforts and development of project costs.

Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, and other compensable factors.

Salary Range: $96,500 - $128,900 - $161,000
