The Business Process Transformation Manager is responsible for identifying, designing, and implementing process improvements enabled by technology across finance operations, with an initial focus on accounting workflows such as Accounts Payable, Cash Application, and General Ledger support processes. This role is intended for a professional with strong process improvement experience, a technology-oriented mindset, and the ability to work closely with business users to streamline workflows, improve efficiency, and enhance operational effectiveness. While the role will begin with a primary focus on Finance and Accounting, it is expected to evolve over time into a broader enterprise transformation role supporting process improvement opportunities across the organization.
The position does not require prior hands-on AI experience but is expected to actively leverage automation and AI-enabled tools in support of workflow redesign and continuous improvement, within the technology architecture and governance model established by IT.

Key Responsibilities:
- Identify opportunities to improve business processes through workflow redesign, standardization, and technology enablement
- Partner with Finance and Accounting teams to analyze current processes, identify bottlenecks, and recommend solutions that improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability
- Lead or support implementation of technology-enabled process improvements, including workflow tools, automation solutions, and AI-supported capabilities
- Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements, document future-state workflows, and support adoption of new processes
- Collaborate with IT to ensure solutions align with established platform, architecture, governance, and security standards
- Support pilot programs, testing, rollout, training, and refinement of new solutions
- Track process improvement outcomes through metrics such as throughput, cycle time, error reduction, and user adoption
- Help build a repeatable approach for identifying and scaling process improvements beyond Finance over time.

- Drive measurable process improvement and efficiency gains through technology-enabled workflow enhancements
- Serve as a strong partner to Finance leadership and business teams in evaluating and redesigning current processes
- Apply structured problem-solving and process discipline to identify root causes, eliminate inefficiencies, and improve operational execution
- Support the implementation of automation and AI tools to improve workflow quality, speed, and visibility
- Partner effectively with IT within an established governance model, ensuring solutions are scalable, supportable, and aligned with enterprise standards
- Build credibility with Finance users by developing a strong understanding of accounting operations and translating business needs into practical improvements
- Contribute to the long-term development of a broader enterprise process improvement capability
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Bachelor’s degree in Systems, Engineering, Finance, Business, Information Systems, or related field
- 5–8+ years of experience in process improvement, workflow design, operations transformation, consulting, or technology-enabled business improvement
- Experience working in IT, consulting, finance, accounting operations, or other process-driven environments
- Experience documenting and improving business processes using technology solutions
- Exposure to finance or accounting environments is preferred, but not required
- Strong process improvement and workflow design skills
- Ability to analyze current-state operations and design practical, scalable future-state solutions. ability to simplify complex concepts
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical and business teams
- Ability to translate business needs into process and system requirements
- Experience with technology-enabled process improvement, workflow tools, or automation platforms preferred
- Experience with AI tools is not required, but the role is expected to actively apply AI and automation solutions as part of process redesign and efficiency initiatives
- Comfortable learning and adopting tools such as Copilot, Power Platform, workflow automation tools, and other digital enablement platforms
- Strong organizational and project coordination skills

Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, and other compensable factors.
Salary Range: $104,027 - $137,901 - $171,462
