Staff Nurse II - OP Wound Care - PT (8-hr. 0.8FTE) - Days

Salary Range: $87.66- $116.86 + applicable differentials
Summary of Duties: The Staff Nurse II is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated time frame and provides fiscally responsible care to these patients via therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, the environment/instrumentation and other health care team members.
Education Requirements: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. BSN Required.
License/Certification Requirements: Current California RN license and AHA BLS required. WCN certification from WOCN or WCC. Certification required within one year of hire.
Experience Requirements: 6 months or more acute care hospital experience required. 1 year experience required with VAC dressings, Wound assessment skills, ostomy & principles of Wound management.
Special skills or abilities: Ability to work productively in a busy and complex environment, effective written and oral communication skills in English.
