The work - How you will contribute: In accordance with the Wallick Mission and Values, the Development Associate provides key support to the project team in all efforts associated with the development process.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Assume a key role in the development process with a focus on site selection, site feasibility, application preparation, scoring analysis, public approvals, and development feasibility research.
- Understanding of critical path within each project timeline and assisting Development Manager with adherence to timeline deliverables.
- Assist with due diligence in closing of projects.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required as necessary to travel to project sites, planning departments or community meetings.

About You:
- Bachelor’s degree in Development, City and Regional /Urban Planning, Public Administration, Finance or Business Development.
- Previous experience with some components of real estate development.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Suite including Word, Excel, and Powerpoint.
- Must have strong communication skills both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to analyze and interpret reports.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills a must.
