- Pay: Up to $18/HR
- Position may require some weekends/holidays
- Full time and Part time available
The work - How you will contribute: In accordance with the Wallick Mission and Values, the Barista provides exceptional customer service by crafting delicious coffee beverages for residents and guest. Works closely with the Food Service team to ensure seamless service and creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.
Qualifications Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1 or more years of previous experience as a barista or a similar role preferred.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to follow recipes and maintain consistency in beverage preparation.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Brew Barista coffee and flavor of the day coffee.
- Prepare specialty drinks to order, following all recipes.
- Maintain open communication with management, informing them of product and supply needs.
- Follow the uniform dress code to ensure a professional appearance.
- Assist fellow team members as needed, fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Place orders for products needed at the location.
- Conduct weekly inventory to ensure adequate stock levels.
- Stand and/or walk for 50% of the time during shifts.
- Occasionally lift up to 25 lbs. and frequently lift up to 10 lbs. as required for stocking and other tasks.

Physical Demands: Position requires extensive walking, stooping/bending, balancing, and kneeling. Requires the ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
Work Environment: Occasionally works in hot, wet, or humid conditions(non-weather). Regularly works in cold and hot kitchen(non-weather), Occasionally works near moving mechanical parts, toxic chemicals and in outdoor weather conditions.
