We are currently looking for a passionate and detail-oriented part-time Service Coordinator to work 20HRS and join our expanding team. This role involves providing crucial support to multiple affordable housing properties in Ohio, ensuring that residents receive the highest level of service. The pay for this position ranges from $14.00 to $16.00 per hour, depending on the candidate's level of education and experience.

The work - How you will contribute: In accordance with the Wallick Mission and Values, the Service Coordinator connects residents of affordable housing communities to support services that promote self-sufficiency and improve quality of life. Our on-site service coordinator provides residents with information, makes referrals to community organizations, and brings on-site resources. Together, we can build safer, more supportive communities.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:  

- Provide service linkage for residents and foster the development of the partnerships. 

- Increase resident awareness of the services provided by distributing informational materials. 

- Maintain a directory of service providers and source new ones. 

- Conduct resident assessments and create action plans. 

- Assist residents with completing applications and required documentation to secure assistance.

- Document and provide ongoing follow-up with residents. 

- Attend standing meetings with RRN and property management. 

- Performs other related duties as assigned. 

About You:

- Associate's degree in social work or related field. 

- 2+ years of experience serving low-income individuals, families, senior citizens, persons with disabilities, or related populations.

- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team

-Ability to converse effectively in writing and verbally with co-workers, residents, family members, and business partners.  

- Ability to make complex decisions requiring a high degree of judgment.

- Valid driver’s license.

-  Ability to independently research and gather information to support decision-making

- Intermediate computer skills

- Detail oriented data entry must be highly accurate. 

- Collaborates with others; thinks about the impact of their decisions or work on others.

- Be open and receptive to new skills and ways of doing business, as well as to various work assignments and locations.

Physical Demands: The position requires general office work (sitting, standing); manual dexterity is needed for computer work with keyboard and mouse; requires walking, talking, seeing, and hearing.   

 

Work Environment: This position requires work to be performed in a remote office setting, which may include working from home or a designated remote location. Extensive use of a computer and keyboard is required.
