Main Responsibilities
Infrastructure Management
Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the organization's IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, storage, and other hardware.
Ensure the availability, performance, and security of all IT systems and services.
Develop and implement IT policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Team Leadership
Manage a team of IT professionals, including system administrators, network engineers, and support staff.
Provide guidance, coaching, and mentorship to team members to foster their professional development.
Delegate tasks effectively and monitor progress to ensure timely completion of projects and tasks.
Vendor Management
Collaborate with vendors and third-party service providers to procure IT equipment and services.
Evaluate vendor proposals and negotiate contracts to ensure the best value for the organization.
Monitor vendor performance and address any issues or concerns promptly.
Incident Response and Problem Resolution
Develop and implement incident response procedures to address IT emergencies and minimize downtime.
Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to resolve IT-related issues and outages.
Conduct post-incident reviews to identify root causes and implement preventive measures.
Security & Compliance
Implement and maintain security measures to protect the organization's IT infrastructure from cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, such as GDPR, HIPAA, and PCI DSS.
Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify potential weaknesses and gaps.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
Proven experience in IT operations management, with at least 4-5 years in a leadership role.
In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure, including networking, servers, storage, and cloud technologies.
Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, CISSP, PMP) are a plus.
