Responsibilities:
  • Understand and abide by all Company safety rules, regulations, and policies.  Ensure that safe and sanitary working conditions are maintained in the facility in accordance with Company standards, as well as, state & federal laws and regulations. Know and understand your OSHA rights.  Responsible for attending all assigned safety meetings, toolbox talks, and safety training sessions. 
  • Use engineering drawings to perform all phases of system assembly including wiring, piping, assembly, and testing.
  • Provide assistance to sales (inside/outside) personnel (field service, demo’s discussion).
  • Provide customer assistance or as needed.
  • Assist with inventory management, cycle counts, ordering, and receiving
  • Assist operations in performing quality assurance, shipping & receiving functions and other duties as needed.
  • Participate in and lead Process Improvement activities.  Develop and implement solutions working with manufacturing supervisors, Buyers, Engineering, Management, Customer Care, and hourly personnel as appropriate. 
 
Qualifications:
  • Mechanical background and electrical experience preferred (Vocational training, or equivalent).
  • Working knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems is a plus.
  • Able to read and interpret engineering drawings.
  • Ability to use precision measuring equipment, floor and hand tools.
  • Must have manual dexterity to perform basic functions of job.
  • Must possess good written and verbal communication skills.
  • High school diploma mandatory.
  • General computer knowledge required.
