Business Development Representative   

GTA   

    

Reporting to the Eastern Canadian Business Development Manager, the Business Development Representative will play a critical role in the development and advancement of product solutions.   

    

What You Will Need for Success as Business Development Representative   

  • Experience developing and growing new business opportunities by cultivating relationships with key stakeholders with owners and engineering.
  • We're looking for a self-starter who enjoys working in an autonomous leadership role while being a member of a team of highly skilled colleagues.
  • An important aspect of this opportunity will be raising awareness of the product's full range of solutions and to create change. This will involve a deep understanding of the construction community.
  • You will need to maintain a sound knowledge base across the product's full scope of market solutions and services.
  • You will need to maintain close contact with all stakeholders to create, convert and sustain engineering standards to the product.
  • As part of our successful sales team, you'll be responsible for growing our business by meeting set targets and goals.
  • Development and execution of small group councils to include highest levels of owners, engineers and product executives.

    

Required Knowledge and Experience:   

  • Extensive relevant experience within the construction and engineering fields;
  • Proven sales track record, including account management, achieving targets and complex sales driven at the owner and engineering levels;
  • Strong Engineering skills in writing and developing design specifications;
  • Excellent communication skills; Professional demeanor and appearance; Travel as required;
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management or BCOM
  • Master's degree in Mechanical or Construction Management or MBA will be considered a plus.

    

Salary: $100 – 120k (based on experience) + (car, uncapped commission & bonus)
