We’re seeking a motivated individual to join our dynamic Logistics team as a Logistics Administrator. This entry-level role offers a fantastic opportunity to launch your career in supply chain management while gaining invaluable experience in a fast-paced environment.
 
Please note - this is a temporary W2 position with potential for conversion/extension.
 
As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our global freight payment processes. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Conducting in-depth reviews of multi-currency freight payments
  • Maintaining accurate freight rates
  • Performing comprehensive freight audits
  • Generating detailed logistics financial reports
To succeed in this role, you must possess strong analytical and communication skills. You should also be highly accurate, efficient, and detail-oriented, with a proven ability to problem-solve and continuously improve processes.
This position reports to the Sr. Manager of Global Logistics and is based in our Easton, PA office.
Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between carriers and our third-party freight payment provider.
  • Identify carrier requirements and implement strategies to ensure timely, accurate, and reliable freight payment processing.
  • Analyze carrier contracts, rates, and tariffs to guarantee correct billing, resolve pricing disputes, and maintain data integrity within our freight payment system.
  • Collaborate with Accounts Payable to reconcile payments, including the recovery of funds owed due to successful disputes or claims. Oversee and address outstanding collections.
  • Provide payment research and support for global operations.
  • Generate weekly and monthly spending analyses, accounts payable aging, and accrual reports to identify cost-saving and routing optimization opportunities.
  • Negotiate with carriers to resolve discrepancies and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to address freight payment issues.
  • Engage with technology teams on QlikSense financial applications.
  • Contribute to team projects as needed.
  • Prepare ad-hoc reports as required.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly grasp complex carrier contracts, pricing structures, and industry regulations.
  • Proven capacity to handle a high volume of tasks while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.
