Position Type: Non - Exempt 

 

Location (Facility): Victaulic Justin, TX Manufacturing 

 

Reports to (Position Title): Production Supervisor 

 

Responsibilities: 

 

1. Learn and Execute the elements of Safe operation on our Forklifts and the Material Handling operation within the Fabrication and Warehouse areas to include bundling & palettizing. 

2. Perform Daily inspections of all powered lift trucks and verify they are in safe operating condition. 

3. Adhere to all safety protocols involving motorized equipment in Fabrication and Warehouse locations. 

4. Know and understand how to properly navigate Medix for MFG/Catalog picking. 

5. Know and understand BPCS for Warehouse picking. 

6. Complete all daily checklists and TPM’s. 

7. Ensure all area 5S duties are getting completed. 

8. Communicate and interact with Line Leads & Shift Supervisors on any issues found with the equipment. 

 

 

Qualifications (education, experience, skills, personal attributes): 

 

1. High School Diploma 

2. Experience in a manufacturing/warehouse environment is preferred. 

3. Computer literacy of Microsoft Windows software is preferred. 

4. Familiarity with SWI/SOP processes. 

5. Good understanding of shop math (fraction to decimal) and ability to read tape measure, and measuring tools (caliper, micrometers, vernier scale) preferred. 

6. Previous forklift operation/certification required. 

7. Good written and oral communication skills required. 

8. Good problem solving capabilities desired. 

9. Must be able to work independently, efficiently and be self-motivated and detail oriented.
