Global Process Manufacturing and Automation Engineer
Department: Global Process Technology
Direct report to: Manager Global Process Technology
Location: World Headquarters- Easton, PA

Scope:
This position is for a Process Manufacturing Automation Engineer. In this role you will serve as the lead as well as a support engineer for projects that involve designing and building equipment that includes vision inspection, automation, robot integration, programming and machine learning. You will implement solutions to improve quality control and automate processes in company’s global manufacturing facilities.
As a member of the Global Process Technology team it is integral to the role the ability to collaborate and communicate clearly and effectively between management and manufacturing personnel.
You will be member of a multidisciplinary team that is constantly tasked with new challenges.
Technical requirements/qualifications
Proven track record of completed relevant projects
Bachelor or Master's degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering PREFERRED. Will consider 2 yr Associates Degree or NO degree with relevant experience.
2-4 years of work experience in relevant fields
Some Programming experience preferred
PLC logic
Electrical schematics creation and interpretation
Design of control circuit
Vision systems application, laser or optical
Machine vision image processing and analysis
Machine learning
Automation
Practical electrical circuit understanding
