The Role 
As a Contract & Project Specialist, you'll coordinate and do a close follow-up of all projects in the EMEAI region that do not follow the standard terms and conditions and the standard Victaulic procedures. These projects are typically within industrial markets, such as Water Desalination, Power, Oil & Gas, etc. 
What you will do 
  • You review & analyze project related contracts (contract review terms & conditions, specifications) in coordination with other departments (such as sales, legal, quality, finance, …)
  • Organize kick-off meetings, prepare project plans and follow up all actions in detail.
  • Based on the received input you prepare the deviation list and follow closely the progress in line with the given deadlines. You keep track and do a close follow-up of all related action items
  • Prepare and follow-up requested quotes & received orders in line with the customer requirements & project specifications. In case of an impact project, very detailed order follow-up can be required. If some cases, detailed documentation must be prepared in line with the project specifications
  • You apply integrated project management process for non-standard projects, which have special commercial and technical specifications.
  • You coordinate incoming pre-qualification requests and non-disclosure agreements (NDA) and work together with sales, legal and operational departments to assure a timely response to the customers.
  • You maintain the company internal database for projects, pre-qualifications and NDA’s. You prepare management reports and give regular trainings on project, pre-qualification and NDA management processes.
  • You are responsible to set up and maintain specific Product Master Data files for different countries and distributors. You convert big data files into the requested formats.

 

About You 
  • Bachelor or master’s degree in economics, trade sciences, management, law or similar
  • Min 2 years of experience in a sales or commercial environment or in project management
  • Strong analytical and hands-on coordination skills
  • Strong commercial awareness
  • Affinity with reviewing legal terms
  • High level of proficiency with MS Excel and database applications
  • Proactive with a result-oriented attitude
  • Ability to focus on details and accuracy
  • Team player
  • Good knowledge of English, any other language is an asset
  • Knowledge of an ERP system is an asset
