RESPONSIBILITIES to include but not limited to:

 

·         Understand and abide by all Company safety rules, regulations, and policies.  Ensure that safe and sanitary working conditions are maintained in the facility in accordance with Company standards, as well as state & federal laws and regulations. Know and understand your OSHA rights.  Conduct safety training topics as required or needed.  Responsible for attending all assigned safety meetings, toolbox talks, and safety training sessions.  As required, promptly investigate accidents and near misses, completing appropriate reports and taking action to eliminate root causes.

·         Daily responsibilities include responding to various stakeholders regarding day-to-day design, production, and customer quality issues.

·         Resolve production problems associated with manufacturing process errors, non-conforming parts, and design-level issues.

·         Monitor and analyze product quality metrics to identify areas for improvement. Utilize continuous improvement methodologies to implement process improvement plans and drive them to completion.

·         Develop and implement effective quality control measures.

·         Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute quality plans.

·         Identify root causes of quality issues and implement appropriate corrective actions.

·         Support the development and implementation of quality documentation.

·         Provide training to employees on quality control procedures and best practices.

·         Conduct internal and external audits to ensure compliance with quality standards.

·         Conduct regular meetings with the leadership team to report on the performance of the quality management system.

·         Personal protective equipment must be worn at all times (ex. Safety glasses and steel toe shoes). Safety equipment is provided by the Company with the exception of steel toe shoes, which must be provided by the employee upon the first day of employment.

 

 

Qualifications (education, experience, skills, personal attributes)

 

·         Bachelor’s degree in a related engineering field (ME, EE, IE) or equivalent.

·         Proven experience in a manufacturing environment.

·         Proficiency in reading and understanding various technical documents such as drawings, material specification sheets, etc.

·         Knowledge of ISO 9001 standard.

·         Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts, problems, and ideas to various levels within the organization.

·         Knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma tools DMAIC problem solving, PPAP, DFMEA, DOE, SPC, GR&R, CPk, etc.

·         Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

·         Thorough understanding of quality control principles and methodologies.

·         Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain a high level of accuracy.

·         ASQ Certification is a plus.
