As Lead Veterinarian, you’ll have the opportunity to guide and nurture the team while also collaborating with experienced colleagues who value shared learning. You’ll be supported by a dedicated and loyal team – including one of our lovely Vet receptionists of 20 years, who knows every client and patient and plays a vital role in maintaining our strong community connections.

Located just 12km north of Melbourne’s CBD, Vets in Fawkner offers the perfect balance of community feel and city convenience.

• Clinical autonomy + busy clinic + loyal clientele

• Digital X-ray & digital dental X-ray

• Full in-house pathology suite

What We Offer

• Salary package tailored to your experience

• We can look at Part-time flexibility if you’d like to do only 30-38 hours per week

• Relocation supports available of up to $10,000

• Guaranteed surgical days if that’s your clinical interest

• Work-life balance & flexibility - Work between Monday to Friday, 8:00am–6:00pm. NO WEEKENDS

The Lead Veterinarian Opportunity

As our Lead Veterinarian, you’ll have the opportunity to shape and inspire the veterinary team while working closely with the Practice Manager to drive clinical standards and team development.

You will:

• Mentor and guide your team

• Support continuous improvement and growth

• Contribute to high-quality patient care

• Play a key role in building a strong, positive clinic culture

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 5 years’ clinical experience

• BVSc (or equivalent) with full Australian registration

• Strong collaboration and communication skills

• A warm, professional and positive approach towards the team, clients and patients
