At Maroochy District Animal Hospital, we’re seeking a passionate and experienced Lead Veterinarian to guide our close-knit team of 6 nurses and 2 vets in a well-established, family-focused practice.

•    Work-life balance built in: We’re open 8am–6pm weekdays, 8am–1pm Saturdays, and closed Sundays. No on-call, no after-hours, and no public holiday shifts.

•    Modern facilities: Work in a purpose-built hospital with 3 consult rooms, large prep area, digital X-ray, ultrasound, in-house lab, iM3 dental suite, BOAS and orthopaedic equipment.
•    Clinical variety: Primarily small animals, with the option to see exotics if it interests you (but not essential).

What Makes You Our Perfect Lead Vet:
•    BVSc (or equivalent) with current Australian registration
•    5+ years of veterinary experience, ideally with proven leadership or mentoring skills
•    Strong communication that inspires trust in both clients and team
•    Commitment to clinical excellence and patient-centred care
•    A supportive leadership style that develops and empowers your team
•    Experience with exotics is an advantage, but not required
